The Port of Lauwersoog is situated in a unique location, adjacent to the Unesco Worldheritage Waddensea. The harbour shares our vision of circularity and offers us the opportunity to test our concept locally.
Together with entrepreneurs and waste companies, we have collected local plastic waste and transformed it into outdoor pavement for the newly built World Heritage Center. For primary schools, we offer a unique program called the #NoTrashButTreasure Challenge. This project was made possible by the Waddenfonds.
Together with our partners, the launch of the Waddentegel shows that you can make an impact with plastic waste.
