Transforming locally sourced plastic waste into building materials
Most waste on the islands is dumped on landfills that pose a threat to the environment and quality of life. There is also a need for locally produced building materials, so people living on the islands are not dependent anymore on expensive import.
That is why our solution is a good match: with our FUSE Kitchen on site, we transform locally sourced plastic waste into building materials for the local market. These are affordable, durable products under the brand name, EkoDuro.
EkoDuro products will be made exclusively for Kooyman and used for multiple applications such as fences, floors, and garden and beach furniture. Ekoduro is made from plastic collected on the islands. When you use Ekoduro you help clean up the island for future generations while supporting locally made products. The Ekoduro line represents positivity and hope.
